Batch SMS
In this guide we'll be going through the steps of sending a candidate batch SMS message.
Follow the Candidate Advanced Search guide to find the candidate's you would like to contact.
Select the SMS option from the Send Batch button menu.
1. Select Candidate's
The first step shows a list of candidate's that were found using the Candidate Smart Search.
Review the list to ensure only the candidate's you want to include in the batch SMS are selected.
By default, candidate's that are currently placed, shortlisted or in the Perm Pipeline are not selected.
Press the
button to move to the next step.
2. Compose SMS
Here you can compose the content of your SMS message.
The [%CANDIDATE_NAME%] text is a place holder. This text will be replaced with the candidate's full name when the SMS message is sent. Read the SMS templates guide for more information.
Press thebutton to move to the final step.
3. Send SMS
The final step provides details regarding SMS credit usage. The total number of credits required to send the batch SMS is provided as well as the number of free credits remaining.
If you need to amend the SMS message or change the selected candidate's, you can go back to the previous steps to make the required changes.
Press the
button to send the batch SMS.
Chargeable SMS Credits
Your agency has a number of free SMS credits provided each month.
Once this free allowance has been spent, your agency will be charged for any additional SMS credits used during the billing period.
Your user account requires permission to use chargeable SMS credits. Please read the users guide for further information.
The costs of sending SMS messages can quickly add up, especially when sending batch SMS messages.
You will see a warning if sending the batch SMS would incur additional charges.
KISREC users that have been granted the administrator permission will receive a notification when a user sends a batch SMS message that has incurred an additional charge.
You can keep track of SMS credit usage in the admin SMS Log area.
